Cookie notice

One cookie is set so the lead form works correctly. Nothing else is set unless you accept, and rejecting takes exactly one click — the same as accepting.

Awaiting review by Simcomm's counsel
This wording is a build-ready draft that implements the requirements of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 as the site is actually built. It is not legal advice and must be reviewed and signed off before launch. Remove this block in src/layouts/Legal.astro by passing awaitingCounsel={false}.

The short version

There is no advertising pixel on this site, no tag manager, no session recording and no third-party font request. Typefaces are served from this domain, so loading a page does not announce your visit to anybody. That is a deliberate choice and it is why the banner can be honest and small.

What is set before you choose

NameTypeLifeWhat it does
acq_cid First-party cookie 13 months A random identifier with no personal data in it. It lets us recognise that two submissions of the lead form came from the same browser, so a repeat enquiry is joined to the first rather than treated as a new person. Strictly necessary for the form to behave correctly; no third party can read it.
acq.consent.v1 Local storage, not a cookie Until you clear it Remembers the choice you made on the banner, so you are not asked on every page. It is stored in your browser only. If you reject, nothing else is stored — which is why this one is not a cookie.

What is set only if you accept

WhatProviderWhat it does
Page analytics analytics provider Counts page views and a small set of named events — a form was seen, started, errored on a particular field, or submitted. It is aggregate and cookie-free, sets no cross-site identifier, and cannot follow you to another website. We use it to find out where the form is failing people, which is the only question it is there to answer.
Turnstile bot check Cloudflare, Inc. Loads on pages with a lead form to check the submission came from a person. It sets no advertising identifier and does not track you across sites. It runs on the form pages only, and only at the point of submission.

Changing your mind

Clear this site's data in your browser and the banner returns, so you can choose again. Rejecting is one click with the same prominence as accepting — no pre-ticked boxes, no "manage 412 partners", no button hidden two screens down.

If you reject, the site works exactly the same. Nothing is degraded to persuade you.
